The Coachella Valley is about to get a splash of color this spring with the return of Spectrum Indian Wells, a juried contemporary art show taking place at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. The show will run from Thursday, March 16 to Sunday, March 19, 2017, returning for its second year after a successful premiere in 2016.

The four-day event features top galleries, art publishers, and established studio artists from across the U.S. and around the world showcasing sculpture, paintings, photography, glassworks, and more. This year’s theme? [FUSION], representing the merging of artistic mediums, of exhibitors and collectors, and of the countless galleries and artists that come together to showcase their work.

Spectrum Indian Wells will also host Art Talks, live entertainment, a sculpture garden, a VIP lounge, and specially curated projects, as well as provide art fans the exclusive opportunity to connect with exhibiting artists and see them create their next masterpiece right on the canvas as part of the show’s Meet the Artist series, replete with live art demonstrations.

Spectrum Indian Wells is owned and operated by Redwood Media Group, organizer of leading art shows across the country, including Artexpo New York, Spectrum Miami, and Art San Diego. RMG brought the show to the Coachella Valley for the first time last year and is planning to present a bigger and better show this spring, with even more art and entertainment to ensure there’s something for everyone.

Surrounded by the gorgeous desert and taking place at a luxe venue with an impressive mountain backdrop, the show offers stunning beauty all around, from the exceptional art on display to the top-destination locale.

Connect with exhibiting artists and see them create their next masterpiece right on the canvas.

Attendees can expect to see a plethora of innovative artwork for enjoyment and to purchase. In addition, they’ll get a chance to give back to the community, as a portion of opening night ticket sales will go to the Desert AIDS Project, a community HIV-specialty care, advocacy, and services organization. On Saturday afternoon, the show will feature Big Brother and Big Sisters of the Desert and their Little Brothers and Sisters for a day of fun and art.

Some exhibitors that have already confirmed their participation in the show include Renssen Art Gallery from the Netherlands, James Paterson Sculpture of Canada, New Mexico’s Inart Gallery, and New York’s JBIS Contemporary. Spectrum Indian Wells is expected to have over 50 national and international galleries and artists exhibiting this year.

Tickets for Spectrum Indian Wells’s Opening Night Preview Party are priced at $50 online and $60 at the door.

General admission tickets are $20 online and $30 at the door. Free general admission will be granted to anyone with a ticket to the BNP Paribas Open
