Bobby Taubman, the CEO of Taubman Centers Inc. and owner of The Gardens on El Paseo and El Paseo Village presented a $5,000 check to Martha’s Village to support their Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk. Magdalena Andrasevits, the Executive Director of Martha’s Village accepted the check on behalf of the organization. The funds will be used to help Martha’s Village serve 225,000 meals next year to those that are homeless and hungry in the Coachella Valley.
To support Martha’s Village and The Gardens on El Paseo, John M. Wohlmuth, Palm Desert City Manger and Jan Harnick, the Mayor of Palm Desert were also in attendance. The event took place on the newly built “bridge” between Louis Vuitton & Tiffany at The Gardens on El Paseo.
