The Spa at Colony Palms Hotel reopened in November after renovations that include a new couple’s treatment room and VIP suite room, as well as a new relaxation room. The Well Spa at Miramonte Resort & Spa is rolling out four December specials for a total body reboot. The Pumpkin Spice Body Polish uses fine cane sugar laced with Vitamin C, copper and zinc for protection and a pumpkin spice hydrating lotion for a bit of polish. The Pumpkin Delight Facial combines organic pumpkin enzymes to gently exfoliate and a mask with powdered honey and detoxifying clay to refine and plump. The Candle Massage promotes soft, supple skin with a Swedish massage that features warm candle oil and natural scents. Finally, the Classic Mani-Pedi is made more festive with a glass of chilled Champagne. And, the Well is also offering a “Buy 2, Get 1 For You” special for all gift certificates this month.

J. W. Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa is launching its new Spa Wellness Membership with special values for those who purchase this by year’s end. Early bird joiners will receive accommodations in a Signature View guest room, along with the highly-touted InBody body composition analysis.
This is aimed at providing an overall review of the balance of body fat and lean mass. It supplies details about intracellular, extracellular and total body water, along with “segmental lean analysis,” which is a look at the total fat and lean mass in each limb as well as the core.
Membership includes full spa access, one 60-minute treatment per month, fitness classes and wellness lectures, and discounts on spa and salon services, retail products and at the Spa Bistro, and other resort restaurants.
