8 p.m. – Rolling Stone calls them "America's foremost rock impressionists." Wilco takes the stage at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert.  The band has made a long career of weaving diverse musical influences into a very unique sound. 9 p.m. – Comedian Chris Tucker performs at Agua Caliente Resort and Casino in Rancho Mirage at The Show.  Go to their website for ticket information.

11 a.m. – It’s Family Fun Day at Palm Desert Park Pavilion.  Activities will take place next to the playground beginning at 11 a.m. and will end around 3 p.m.  Children between the ages of 3 and 11 will have a great time in the cooler temperatures.

7 p.m. – La Brasserie Bistro and Bar will host a fundraiser to pay for a star for Lena Horne. Already planned, the star installation will be placed on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in October for a great entertainer and one-time resident. On Saturday, vocalist and musician, "Yve Evans" will perform as well as "Angie Whitney and the E&J Movement Band". An evening filled with excitement, great food, beverage, and entertainment.

10 p.m. – Girls, get ready to kick up your heels as Hunter’s Nightclub pulls out all the stops for PINK, Girl’s Night Out.  Held on the last Saturday of each month, the club will be shaking to some great music and great drinks.
