The Frank Sinatra “Twin Palms” estate, designed in 1947 by architect E. Stewart Williams, stands as the first commission piece of architecture to impact the built environment of Palm Springs, according to Ron Marshall, former president of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation.
Sinatra’s house is a staple of tours during Modernism Week, which ran Feb. 13-23. Designated as a Class 1 Historic Site by the City of Palm Springs, the house is known to many as having “great mid-century modern design with an added touch of Hollywood lore.”
