Paul Goff and Tony Angelotti went on a hike 12 years ago in Pipes Canyon near Pioneertown and discovered the ruins of a 1920;s house formerly owned by a mining family. OLYMPIC SWIMMERS
"Just Add Swim"
Olympic swimmers from 1976 to 2012 will help teach basic swim skills to kids at 9 a.m. May 10 at the YMCA-Palm Desert Aquatic Center. Pre-registration is required by May 9. Former Oympians expected to appear include Janet Evans, Jason Lezak, Rowdy Gaines, Aaron Peirsol, Chloe Sutton, Brian Goodell and Kaitlin Sandeno.
