She has gone on since the days of Wonder Woman to perform and tour singing a mix of jazz and country, but it's her Marvel Comics character which many still identify Lynda Carter with. She's OK with that, and was susprised when a Facebook campaign landed her a spot on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars May 10. Find out what reminder of the TV series she still has.

RUSTIC RUINS

Pipes Canyon site becomes outdoor dining venue
Paul Goff and Tony Angelotti went on a hike 12 years ago in Pipes Canyon near Pioneertown and discovered the ruins of a 1920;s house formerly owned by a mining family. They immediately saw great potential in an outdoor dining venue, but rather than rebuild something new, they kept the ruins intact. Take a VIDEO tour.

OLYMPIC SWIMMERS

"Just Add Swim"
Olympic swimmers from 1976 to 2012 will help teach basic swim skills to kids at 9 a.m. May 10 at the YMCA-Palm Desert Aquatic Center. Pre-registration is required by May 9. Former Oympians expected to appear include Janet Evans, Jason Lezak, Rowdy Gaines, Aaron Peirsol, Chloe Sutton, Brian Goodell and Kaitlin Sandeno.
