Tina Marx of Palm Desert has published The Domino Effect: Nine Principles to Resurfacing in Your Own Life (CreateSpace). A certified holistic life coach with a master’s degree in metaphysical counseling, Marx wrote the book to help questioning readers turn their attention to a faith-based mindset so they can reclaim the lives they were born to live.

D.G. Voda has published Must See to Appreciate: Adventures of a Palm Springs Realtor (Brown & King Publishers). Although he now resides in Boulder, Colo., Voda worked as a real estate agent in Palm Springs in the mid-2000s. His book is a collection of six humorous stories about a single mom/real estate agent based on his experiences.

Philip Werber of La Quinta has published Beechmont Riffs: A Death in the Village (XLibris). Based on a 1989 murder in a wealthy New York neighborhood, the book follows a search for truth by the local police, a political balancing act by the mayor, and the unraveling of a small community. At the center is a private eye who sets out to solve the crime, while never forgetting to mow the lawn. Werber started his writing career as a journalist, then went on to write award-winning educational films, videos, commercials, and corporate television productions.
