Festival in the Canyons XIX, a benefit for the Hanson House Foundation was held Saturday May 17th at the beautiful Indian Canyons Golf Resort. The wonderful day began in the morning with the Hanson House Charity Classic Golf Tournament and luncheon followed in the evening by the lakeside cocktail reception, outdoor dinner and concert. This year’s concert featured the “Blue Sky Riders” made up of Kenny Loggins, Georgia Middleman and Gary Burr. VIP Guests enjoyed a private reception with the band.
Sponsor and donor support this year and over the past many years made it possible for Hanson House to celebrate its eleventh year of operation. In just the first three months of this year, Hanson House has served 250 patient family members with more than 1250 room nights. The Hanson House Foundation, with the help of events like Festival In the Canyons, is being successful in fulfilling its mission to assist even more families of the critically ill and injured at the Hanson House “home away from home” while they endure some of the toughest times of their lives.
