The Palm Springs International Film Festival will branch out to Cathedral City for a screening venue during the Jan. 1-11 run.

The UltraStar Mary Pickford Theater has been added due to construction at Palm Springs High School, which will be operational again in time for the 2017 Festival.

Located just outside of Palm Springs in Cathedral City, the festival will utilize two auditoriums (379 and 242 seats, respectively) each featuring stadium seating, 3D capability, available hearing impaired devices, convenient free covered parking and the Cinema Café.
