One dollar from every April 2007  issue of Palm Springs Life purchased will be donated to The Jazmin Fund. Purchase here.

The Jazmin Fund was created in November 2006 following a humanitarian trip to Fiji made by Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, daughter of Monaco’s Prince Albert.

While The Jazmin Fund is its own program, it is managed by The Naqaqa Giving Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Studio City whose mission is to fulfill educational, health, and emergency needs for Fijians living in remote villages. Contributions are tax deductible, and 100 percent of contributions to go to beneficiaries, with overhead being paid entirely by the founder.

Jazmin Grace Grimaldi directs where contributions to her fund go.

In 2006, the foundation provided the following:

•    Rain gutter water system for the Yanuca Village that had no water
•    Classroom chairs for a school on Rabi Island
•    Medical treatment and medical supplies for Togo Village

Among 2007 projects is a schoolhouse or community center for youth that Jazmin personally plans to help build this summer.
