Ashlee Ciora has traveled to Europe 33 times, has been to 34 U.S. states, and visited 30 countries on four continents, with a goal of ultimately traveling to six of the seven continents.
Since the vice president of travel industry sales for the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau is only 36, meeting that goal is fairly certain.
Ciora moved to the desert from Scottsdale 4 1/2 years ago to work at the CVB, first as a director and then moving up to a vice presidency.
“I love coming home to this destination — one that others dream about,” she says. “I get to live it every day. This is not a sleepy destination, and it is quickly becoming a year-round destination with more and more people in the summer and events getting bigger.”
She is grateful for her career, the people she has met, and the amazing travel opportunities. Ciora loves extreme sports and golfing, as well as good food and wine.
“Traveling will be a part of me always, but maybe on a smaller scale one day,” she says.
