Michele Mician is most passionate about making her community and world a better place.
As sustainability manager for the city of Palm Springs, she is able to combine her career with her passion.
“I often work with charities that focus on youth, women, and the environment,” Mician says. “I really enjoy partnering with neighborhood groups and grassroots activists to make the environment healthier, to improve the quality of life. A highlight for me has been putting on the Mayor’s Healthy Planet, Healthy You Race and Wellness Festival. It was a huge challenge and also so rewarding.”
Mician, whose parents are Czech and escaped to America before communism fell, is looking to build a family in the valley.
“I look forward to having a family one day and definitely contributing in a positive way to the community,” she says.
