The rebirth of the Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage entered a new phase recently as developer Kam Sang unveiled the opening of 16 luxury residences located adjacent to the hotel.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Rancho Mirage start at $1 million, and the two-bedroom homes come fully furnished. All of the units have outdoor space and some even have private backyards with hot tubs and outdoor showers.

Expansive sliding doors from a living room open to a terrace with sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

“The design of the residences was inspired by their dramatic desert setting, poised high above the valley,” says Ronnie Lam, president of Kam Sang. “A deep respect for the surroundings and harmonious aesthetic balance between luxury and nature can be felt throughout each home. Native elements such as stone, wood, and fire were used to embrace the desert landscape, colors, and culture. The result is a contemporary, contextual luxury that seamlessly connects the indoors with the outdoors and the surrounding environment.”

The finishes in the kitchens and bathrooms include Camargo travertine floors, natural stone countertops, and chestnut cabinetry.

The kitchens have high-end appliances including a Wolf range with Viking professional hood, Viking microwave, Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, and an Asko dishwasher.

“Each residence is beautifully appointed with every modern convenience, including a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, full furniture and fixtures, and a grand master bedroom terrace overlooking the stunning desert landscape,” says Lam.

Owners will also have access to a 25,000-square-foot health club and spa, both of the hotels restaurants, in-residence dining, three swimming pools, and the Ritz Kids childcare program.

The fully furnished homes feature desert tones.

Buyers will have full ownership of the homes, with an option to rent out their residence through the Ritz-Carlton hotel program.

“The demographic of Rancho Mirage owners will be an exclusive and affluent group of people who appreciate five-star luxury service,” says Lam. “Most will be purchasing a residence as a vacation home, and many will likely already own another Ritz-Carlton property.”

The dining room in a corner unit is open on two sides to a wraparound terrace.

A sales gallery is located in the hotel. Prospective buyers can visit rcr-ranchomirage.com or call 760-202-7858.
