Palm Springs Art Museum joins museums, arts organizations, universities, and AIDS service organizations in recognizing A Day With(out) Art on Dec. 1. Coinciding with the World Health Organization’s World AIDS Day, this event symbolizes a “day of mourning and action in response to the AIDS crisis.” Instead of a world without art, art is used to honor individual legacies, commemorate loss, and acknowledge the ongoing need for increased awareness and action in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
