For this design, Morraika Simonds of An Interior Motive Designs used paint and a canvas (a painter’s dropcloth, no less) to interpret the bold graphics of Lichtenstein. Upholstery welting and Fabricut sheer drapery fabric finish out the look, in which Morraika interprets the era of this painting and what our Shipboard Babe might have been wearing. Morraika is an award winning interior designer with an eye for the unique and a flair for the unusual. Her skills as a seamstress has been put to good use for this year’s Fashion Runway Event, where she has created not one but two eye-catching outfits. |
