Palm Springs Life and the Greater Palm Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted the annual Cabbie Appreciation Luncheon at the Palm Springs International Airport Cab Center. The desert area taxi drivers were treated to a scrumptious lunch prepared by Sherman’s Deli and Bakery and a fun “spin the wheel” for raffle prizes was provided by the two hosts. A game table, four chairs and board games and puzzles was donated to the Cab Center by the Greater Palm Springs CVB. Representing SunLine Transit Agency was Lauren Skiver, General Manager, and Michael Jones, Taxi Administrator. In attendance from the Greater Palm Springs CVB was Scott White, President and CEO and from Palm Springs Life was Frank Jones, Associate Publisher. A good time was had by all with warm wishes of gratitude expressed to the taxi cab drivers for their loyal distribution of Palm Springs Life The Guide to their patrons.
