Carl Kozlik, of Palm Desert retired from Palm Springs Life’s sales staff in February 2001 at the young age of 91 – his 100th birthday was January 1, 2010. To honor his 30 year relationship with the magazine and more importantly, his long friendship with co-workers, he celebrated the occasion with sandwiches and a special 100 year birthday cake from one of his favorite restaurants, Sherman’s Deli & Bakery. Attendees enjoyed stories from Carl of his long & colorful association with Milt and Frank Jones, as well as tales of his earlier career in radio and television. All of Palm Springs Life is looking forward to Carl’s next 100 years.
