Mexican Master, Vladimir Cora, premiered a new collection of work at Coda Gallery. Cora achieved his reputation and won prizes since the first art competitions in which he participated. He discovered art at age fifteen, after deciding that he could not be a musician. He has had over 150 individual exhibitions both in Mexico and abroad, and continues to work from his home state, Nayarit. Cora's new paintings are bold and vibrant, featuring nudes, birds, and still-lifes. The artist was present at the opening, and although he does not speak English, he was happy to discuss his work with guests by way of translators.

While exploring Cora's work, visitors were entertained by guitarist Milton Merlos. Food and wine were also served to round out an exciting evening for all.
