Coachella Valley art patrons were treated to paintings by artists TAIRA and Gabriel Rivera on Jan. 8 at Colin Fisher Studios in Cathedral City.
On display were large canvases by the two abstract expressionist painters. TAIRA typically fills her canvases with bold strokes of bright colors, while Gabriel Rivera uses repetitive strokes to create a pleasing pattern.
Guests met both artists while enjoying treats passed butler style from Lulu’s Bistro in Palm Springs.
The exhibition continues through Jan. 29.
