Colin Fisher Studios presents its gallery opening exhibition of "Here's Looking at You" on Nov. 15 featuring abstract and contemporary face paintings by well listed to self-taught artists.
Located at 68929 Perez Road in Cathedral City, the gallery's exhibit will include works from Fisher's personal collection. The gallery has been completely transformed for the exhibit. Refreshments and light buffet will be served throughout the first day.
Fisher says he began collecting face paintings because when he would see a painting he liked, more often than not, it brought a smile to his face, it gave him a cozy feel, good feeling inside.
"It won't be easy seeing them go, however, in turn, hopefully it will bring a smile to the new owner who is smart enough to acquire it," he says.
The exhibition will remain open seven days a week until Dec. 30.
