Super heroes and heroines turned out in full force at Contour Dermatology’s Day of Beauty in early September to benefit Shelter from the Storm.

Attending on behalf of Shelter from the Storm were Andrea Carter, president of the Sheltering Sisters auxiliary, and board member Robin Costello.

Contour Dermatology has been a supporter of Shelter from the Storm for several years. Guests not only displayed their super hero power by supporting an important community resource, they enjoyed a variety of beauty treatments.

In addition to live demonstrations of new technology and skin care products, Deanna Bivins and Lisa Olson of Red Dragon Karate in Palm Desert gave a demonstration and talked with guests about how the martial arts can boost self-confidence, fitness, and awareness.

Contour Dermatology hosts Day of Beauty for its patients on a quarterly basis as a benefit for the community.
