She’s your doggie, and her wardrobe just got a fabulous upgrade! Designer Linda Higgins showcased her delightful and cheery canine fashion line, Classy Doggie Designs, at Cosmopawlitan Café & Boutique, Sunday March 17, 2013.
The trunk show, which was free to the public, drew socialites, animal lovers, and spectators, clamoring to own a piece of Higgins’ work, which made a big splash on the runway at the Le Chien Couture Fashion Show the previous evening in the big white tent at Fashion Week El Paseo™.
Whimsical skirts, bold, floral-print dresses, feathered gowns, and fascinator hats were hot ticket items. Even looks donned by celebrity pet Bonny, from the film Seven Psychopaths were up for grabs.
While shopping, attendees were treated to effervescent mimosas at the trendy café as their pets feasted on tasty baked treats. The event drew a lively crowd, and sparked conversation among Higgins’ clientele, even as they left with wares in hand.
