The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) has a new name for a building on its Palm Springs iHub Accelerator campus after the Wells Fargo Foundation granted $200,000 recently.

The Wells Fargo Innovation Center reflects the bank’s commitment to innovation incubation in Greater Palm Springs.

CVEP is a member of the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) program, which promotes sustainable technologies for commercial buildings. Ashley Grosh, vice president of Wells Fargo Environmental Affairs and IN2 co-lead, presented the check to CVEP Chairman Rick Axelrod.

Axelrod said the Palm Springs iHub provides the critical infrastructure to attract innovative businesses that will diversify the economy and create high-skill, high-paying jobs in the region.
