Call it getting ready for summer, call it a reboot for pool season, or just call it one of those “I deserve it” indulgences — these treatments at Palm Springs spas and around the Coachella Valley will ensure your express ticket to smooth skin all over.

The Body Fitness Facial at Palm Springs Yacht Club promises to improve elasticity with head-to-toe exfoliating, moisturizing and hydrating, delivering the benefits of a super-luxurious facial to soften and tone skin. Results: gleaming limbs and an optically sliming result.

For those who want “the works,” Agua Serena is promoting its Full Spectrum Style package— a full day of pampering with a 50-minute Serena Custom Therapy Massage, 50-minute Organic Antioxidant Cleanse Facial, 80-minute manicure/pedicure, shampoo and style and mineral makeup application. A delicious, healthy lunch is included.

Spa Esmeralda’s outdoor spa area gives customers the option of private outdoor cabanas.

Spa Esmeralda at Renaissance Indian Wells has a wide menu of body treatments, including the Organic Mud Purification, which includes a detox wrap, mineral both and massage aimed at reducing water retention, cellulite and stress. The Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glo stimulates metabolism and purifies the skin. In combination with unrefined sea salt and a blend of kukui, camellia and jojoba oils, the treatment works to exfoliate and remineralize the skin, leaving it soft and energized.

Lavender Dreams is perfect for the overworked and overtired, using a blend of organic lavender oils and natural minerals for exfoliation, a lavender massage and body wrap, and a relaxing scalp massage with heated lavender oil to induce tranquility and release tight muscles.

Another treatment for distressing is the Cellutox Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap, which lavishes your body with an application of sea plants and marine algae, then tucks you into a warming foil wrap while you enjoy a pressure point facial and scalp treatment. The treatment is aimed at reducing water retention and the appearance of cellulite, creating deep relaxation and smoothing the skin all over.

Two Bunch Palms offers a special Cool Stone Magnesium Body Therapy available weekdays through August. Because magnesium, which is a vital component in muscle function and energy generation, is readily absorbed through the skin, a healthy dose is blended into the spa’s own mix of chaparral, avocado, dalmatian sage and jojoba oils to deeply hydrate dry skin.

The concoction is applied with cool stones to aid penetration, and a finishing application of shea butter lotion makes sure moisture is sealed in for long-lasting silkiness.
