Q: What’s the trick to setting up a look for each night?

A: Place a folding rolling rack in a spare room or clear out part of your closet to make a dedicated Fashion Week space. Be sure to leave room for shoes and accessories. (Grab some gallon size baggies to hold accessories … perfect to hang with each outfit.)

Start shopping with a plan in mind, but only after you have worked with what is in your closet.

Line outfits up one by one and accessorize each individually.

Don’t forget that every celebrity stylist has a photographer by his or her side … so, pat yourself on your back and take a “selfie.” This will be a perfect reference for the actual night of the event, and you’ll have your very own dress rehearsal.

Before you know it, you’ll have seven or eight outfits and something different and perfect for every night that you will be attending.

Remember, this is the time to push the fashion envelope.

Check out the events for the week on fashionweekelpaseo.com and start making your plans.
