Inspired by the Mid-Century feel of Palm Springs/Palm Desert and the surrounding  of tall palm trees, clean white walls, chrome home accessories, and lucite in abundance, came the idea for the "MOD MAX" costume.  Mother nature provided the bustier base of the costume, which arrived after a gentle wind knocked the fronds off the trees. The rest was a combined effort to re-use and recycle items that were already at our disposal. An interesting fact is that no electricity was used to complete this costume.
