Twin Tower Entrance to Cathedral City, California
circa 1925 to 1940
The bell towered entrance of Cathedral City was removed in the 1940s to make way for larger cars and trucks. The town was asleep when the towers were demolished. Today, a majestic bell tower stands to sound, in honor of the original pair. (Miniature replica, by Margie St. Anthony.)
