Local actors at Desert Ensemble Theatre in Palm Springs put on a play about five women, all named Betty, who collide at the intersection of anger, sex, and the “thea-tah.” The production first premiered on Broadway in 2018, and Variety reported it “offers a broad spectrum of queer voices rarely seen onstage.”
