Escape the Lost Pyramid at the Museum of Ancient Wonders
On Friday and Saturday night, October 1 and 2, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. MoAW will host PRO VR USA’s Escape the Lost Pyramid Virtual Reality Escape Game, in the realm of Assassin’s Creed Origins, set in Egypt, and is part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise created by Ubisoft.
In this Virtual Reality Escape Game, participants will be transported inside a massive pyramid, where they must navigate treacherous obstacles, utilizing weapons, mind, and wits to solve puzzles in order to find the treasured relic, and escape.
The ‘experience’ requires 2 OR 4 participants. The participants will have 45 minutes to escape or become pyramid relics themselves.
Cost for VR participants is $60.00 with a time limit of 45 minutes to complete the challenge and includes free admission to the museum. There are stations available for up to 4 participants per time slot beginning at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.
Observers pay regular general admission to the museum to attend: $15.00 for adults, and $12.00 for students, military, and seniors.
The virtual reality equipment will be onsite in the museum, connected to TV screens, so that non-participating visitors can enjoy the journey with those that take on the challenge.
Participants are invited to include friends and family to view the monitors while they play the game in virtual reality.
Non-participants are asked to pay general admission and the public-at-large is invited to attend.
NOTE: This VR Escape Game is an extremely immersive experience, in a large space, including extreme virtual heights. If you fear heights, you may want to enjoy this experience as an observer.
