Logo Founder Matt Farber Presents “Outlandish”, A Palm Springs Performance Series

Outlandish Palm Springs, a live performance series that has captured the desert community, returns to the Palm Springs Cultural Center with an incredible line-up of legendary performers. Produced by Logo TV Founder Matt Farber in partnership with the Palm Springs Cultural Center and benefiting the LGBT Community Center of the Desert (The Center), the Outlandish series will feature six iconic acts known in the LGBT and mainstream media for their cutting-edge wit and humor October 12 through November 24 with 8:00p.m. performances.

** Described by Lily Tomlin as “one of the last great storytellers” Coco Peru returns to Outlandish on Saturday, October 26. In her brand new show, “Have You Heard” Coco reminisces about her long career as a drag legend, performing some of her favorite monologues and songs, as well as some new stuff too

** On November 2 drag superstar and Palm Springs Tourism ambassador Miss Richfield 1981 returns to Outlandish for her annual Pride weekend performance. In her new show, “Gender Fluids” Miss R will attempt to find non-binary answers to our increasingly complex world. With a healthy heap of help from the audience, this show celebrates ALL the genders-old and new!

** Palm Springs icon Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace, American Horror Story, The Help) makes his Outlandish debut on Saturday, November 16 . In “Overexposed”, Leslie gives the audience a behind the scenes look at his childhood and career, looking back at his flamboyant youth raised as a Southern Baptist and offering treasured anecdotes from his renowned stage and television performances

** Randy Rainbow makes his triumphant return as a 2019 Emmy Nominee to Outlandish on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24. Performing “this year with a live band, the influencer and Internet sensation’s viral comedy videos receive millions of views across all social media and digital platforms. His fresh take on politics and current events has led to interviews/profiles by venerable media outlets such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, ABC News, OUT, People, Entertainment Weekly and NPR.

“Each of these six uniquely talented acts from the worlds of comedy, music, and drag, and bring audiences together to laugh, cry, think, and emote,” said Matt Farber, Executive Producer, Outlandish. “I am grateful to the Palm Springs Cultural Center for their partnership in allowing us to bring this unique series to the desert for the third consecutive year.”
