Singer-Songwriter Ryan Hurd Opening For Old Dominion at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio
Rising country star Ryan Hurd has written hits for Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum and Luke Bryan, among others, and scored a top 40 hit of his own with “To a T.” Now the popular singer-songwriter is joining Old Dominion for the Make It Sweet tour, which makes its way to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s Special Events Center on Friday, December 6th at 8 p.m. Tickets ($129, $89, $69, and $49) are now on sale at the Fantasy Springs Box Office, via phone (800) 827-2946 and online at www.FantasySpringsResort.com.
Prior to embarking on a solo career in 2017, Hurd was well known in Nashville circles as an in-demand songwriter, penning tunes for Rascal Flatts, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, and future wife Maren Morris. The Kalamazoo, MI native scored his first big hit in 2014 when Shelton took “Lonely Tonight” to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay charts.
Hurd’s songwriting success helped launch his performing career with the release of the Panorama EP in 2015, which landed him a record contract with RCA Nashville. The label released his eponymous EP in 2017 preceded by the single “We Do Us.”
“Love in a Bar” was Hurd’s first single to crack Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, peaking at No. 50 in 2017. The following year, “To a T” entered the top 40 of Billboard’s overall Country chart. The single “Her Name Was Summer” was released the past June.
