Historical society announces 2021 Red Hot Auction
After too long, the Twentynine Palms Historical Society is holding a fundraiser! The Last Ever Red Hot Auction is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25, in Founder’s Hall at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Drive.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to join in the fun of both live and silent auctions, with all proceeds going to the historical society’s general fund and used for operational expenses.
The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with the live portion of the evening, starring Larry Bowden as “auk-shun-neer,” starting at 6:45
Items on Bowden’s auction block will include Howard Pierce ceramics, collectible purple glass, a variety of art, and select furniture.
The Twentynine Palms Historical Society is an all-volunteer organization supporting the rich and varied history of Twentynine Palms and surrounding East End Morongo Basin communities.
Admission to the auction is free.
