Finding Purpose and Meaning Past Age 54

For many of us, when we enter into our mid-50s and beyond, we find that the priorities in our life change, which leads to a reshifting of goals, hopes, dreams. This is an opportunity to reexamine our accomplishments, and set a gaze on our future.
One’s life purpose consists of the motivating goals of your life—the reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. For some people, purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work. For others, it means something else.
During this two-part course we will delve into one of the Existential Questions of Life, and help you to determine for yourself, “What is my meaning and purpose.”
Please join Steve Oppenheimer, MFT, as he guides our small group through an exploration of what makes a life worth living.
Some of the tools you will learn during this class:
1. Identify what drives you
2. Learn about the people who you want to help
3. Practices that can help you to increase your own sense of happiness and optimism
4. Tools to help you to prioritize and focus on your goals
