Actress and philanthropist Miss Ruta Lee, with The Thalians, “Hollywood for Mental Health,” in concert with the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, hosted an exhibition fundraiser featuring the works of visionary Italian artist, Mario Canali on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Brian Marki Fine Art & Framing in downtown Palm Springs.
The fundraiser benefited The Thalians' Operation Mend, at UCLA mental health services for returning war veterans and their families; providing a range of services to our Wounded Warriors injured while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The afternoon event was attended by Hollywood and local luminaries; Rich Little, Sherry and Dr. Irwin Lehrhoff, president of The Thalians, Marjorie Victor, Dale and Patti Gribow, William and Pat Anton, Joey English, Scott Deshoff and Brian Theobald, Thalians board member.
