More than 150 educators, business and civic leaders, and parents converged on Toscana Country Club to kick off the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership’s (CVEP) Battle of the High Schools.
Schools throughout the valley’s three districts compete to get the most seniors to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
The top-performing schools will receive cash prizes for their efforts. At the event, CVEP scholars shared stories about how scholarships and financial aid put a college education within reach, set them on a path to a career, and a quality life in the Coachella Valley.
