A native of Vietnam, Benny Dam has spent most of his life in his current hometown of Westminster, Calif. When designing his debut collection, he was inspired by effortlessly-dressed women with a minimalist attitude. Clean lines and exciting silhouettes were the starting points of his collection. Dam chose blood red as the dominant color to represent the boldness and individuality of women today. He aspires to gain industry design experience in both Los Angeles and New York before launching his womenswear company.
