Flow Modern hosted the successful launch of Soukie Modern during a pop-up party attended by the design and fashion community on Saturday, March 7.
The new line, featuring handcrafted Moroccan home goods, rugs, blankets, and pillows, is the brainchild of Moroccan-born Taib Lotfi and part-time Palm Springs resident and entrepreneur Kenya Knight. The duo teamed up with Flow Modern to introduce Soukie Modern because their styles complement each other well. Modern Moroccan textiles, wedding blankets, and down-filled pillows with Belgian linen backing displayed on Flow Modern’s midcentury furniture and couches looked stunning and created a nice blend.
Attendees sampled Moroccan-themed delicacies such as chicken skewers, meatballs, olives, dried sweet mandarin oranges, and blanched almonds with rosemary, and sipped delightful Moroccan mint martinis.
