On the evening of November 12, Frasca Jewelers and its adjoining stores suffered a catastrophic fire. Although the inside of the store was ruined from fire and smoke damage, all of the jewelry was spared.
Over the past few weeks, Maria and Jim Wahl and their staff have been frantically working to set up shop in an empty store three doors west of their store. Working around the clock to replace showcases, jewelry displays, computers and telephones, the long hours and hard work have paid off; Frasca Jewelers is open for business in its temporary location at 73-540 El Paseo.
Maria and Jim wish to thank the town of Palm Desert, the Fire Departments of Palm Desert, Indio and Cal Fire and all of their loyal customers, friends and fellow business owners for their well wishes and support.
