Dorothy Willets, principal of Willets Design & Associates, is well known for her ability to create timeless, sophisticated interiors. Dorothy chose the legendary and prolific Erte as the inspiration for her Art Deco dress design because his ‘body in movement’ philosophy resonates with her design style. The dress fabric is from the Tony Duquette collection for Jim Thompson. The collar, sleeves, and train details are all new wallcovering design by Lori Weitzner. The head piece and dress trim are from Samuel & Sons. All provided by Kneedler Fauchere showroom. The accessories include some of Duquette’s rare jewelry pieces. The head piece broach is constructed with drafting pencils and feathers.
