The Orange County/ Long Beach/ Palm Springs Human Rights Campaign (HRC) entertained more than 850 attendees at a festive gathering held during Palm Springs Pride at the Andreas Hills estate of Jill and Ed Perry.
The fundraising event, which had a record-breaking number of corporate sponsors, honored the supporters of the HRC and acknowledged the accomplishments and the organization's upcoming plans.
The evening included a silent auction, heavy appetizers, open bar and remarks from local and celebrity honorees. Special guests included Chad Griffin, the national HRC president; Jim Obergefell, the plaintiff at the heart of a Supreme Court case that legalized same-sex marriage in the U.S.; Brad White, outgoing HRC board member and event organizer; Andy Linsky, HRC Foundation Board of Directors member; Lucie Arnaz and Laurence Luckinbill, the 2016 Ally for Equality award recipients, and event co-chairs Dr. Ossie Saguil and Dr. Kimberley Yang.
