Ikon Ltd. Fine Art will host its first ever Pop-Up Gallery during Modernism Week in Palm Springs, opening Feb. 14 and continuing through Feb. 26.
Modernism Week opens Feb. 16 and runs for 11 days, closing Feb. 26.
The pop-up gallery, to be located at 800 N. Palm Canyon Drive, will specialize in works on paper from modern and contemporary masters, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Edward Ruscha, Keith Haring, Richard Prince, Robert Rauschenberg, Raymond Pettibon, Vik Muniz, Damien Hirst and more.
The grand opening reception will be held 6-8 p.m. Feb. 18 with gallery owner and artistic director of Ikon Ltd. Fine Art, Kay Richards. Additional receptions will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 14, and Feb. 25. The gallery will open at noon each day.
In addition, Ikon Ltd. Fine Art will install works at the Chino Canyon Project for Modernism Week and Desert X. All works on display in the Chino Canyon Project home are for sale.
Ikon Ltd. Fine Art was established in 1993 as a private consulting service. The gallery moved in 1999 from its original location on La Brea Avenue to the current location at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.
