A light sand colored stucco covers the exterior of the homes at Tuscany Heights and the front yards have drought tolerant landscaping with automatic sprinklers. Residence 2B is shown here.

It seems apropos that Far West Industries is the builder that decided to create an exclusive enclave of single family homes at the far west end of Racquet Club Drive in North Palm Springs.

The gated community, Tuscany Heights, will contain 12 homes that are surrounded by up-close views of the San Jacinto Mountains and are also sited to take in the city lights below.

GREAT ROOM: The great room in the model for Residence 2 is open to the kitchen and has a view overlooking the pool and the San Jacinto Mountains.

The homes have an Old World sensibility, yet are modern in design. They feature single-level living, rooftop decks, pools and spas, solar systems, and large outdoor living spaces.

There are two basic floor plans, each available with slight variations. Residence 1 has three bedrooms and three-and-one half baths spread over 3,407 square feet, as well as an attached casita. Another version of the floor plan is slightly smaller at 3,282 square feet and has a separate casita. Both homes have rooftop decks and outdoor kitchens.

KITCHEN: Kitchens are outfitted with a Jenn-Air stainless steel appliance package, European quartz countertops, and maple Shaker-style cabinets.

Residence 2 is available in three similar, but slightly different floor plans that feature two bedrooms plus a den and three-and-one half baths, as well as a separate casita in 3,394 to 3,542 square feet.

There are also different exterior elevations for homebuyers to choose from and the Tuscan-style architecture features window shadow boxes and extended roof lines. Lot sizes run from 15,000 to 17,000 square feet.

MASTER BATH: The master bathrooms feature floating vanities with quartz countertops, Moen Voss faucets, and dual shower heads with separate controls.

“Our home designs are developed by listening to our buyers and understanding what they want in a home,” says Karen Newcomb, Sales and Marketing Manager for Far West Industries. “The result is unique and practical designs that reflect how our buyers live.”

The community’s estimated completion date is November 2016 and current pricing ranges from $1,235,000 to $1,318,000.
