indiGO Auto Group officially marked the grand opening of its new 26,000 square foot Jaguar Land Rover Rancho Mirage facility on Nov. 19 in Rancho Mirage.
More than 500 guests toured the Desert European Motorcars Campus and received a first glimpse of the all-new Jaguar XF and XE models straight from the Los Angeles Auto Show, scheduled to arrive in Rancho Mirage in 2016.
indiGO Auto Group CEO and Dealer Principal Todd Blue says the building is the "new center of the luxury automotive group's campus. The facility was designed to showcase the progressive and world-class Jaguar and Land Rover brands and to enhance our clients' sales and service experiences."
Jaguar Rancho Mirage was named a 2014/2015 Pride of Jaguar award winner earlier this year. The Pride of Jaguar award is the highest honor which can be earned by a Jaguar dealership. This award represents excellence for outstanding performance in customer experience, business and sales. Jaguar Rancho Mirage was one of only 16 of the 164 Jaguar retailers in the United States to win this award.
The new facility allows for both Jaguar and Land Rover automobiles to be housed under one roof, giving customers and enthusiasts a premier brand experience. “We designed this new facility to focus specifically on customer service and the customer experience to activate their ownership,” says Blue.
Construction of the facility was completed in less than eight months following the groundbreaking on Jan. 20, 2015. The Jaguar Rancho Mirage showroom was previously housed in the campus’ main building, while the Land Rover Rancho Mirage was a solitary structure. A new building and enhancements were constructed adjacent to the Land Rover building to reveal a two-story facility.
More than 10,000 square feet was added to the first floor, and 4,000 square feet was added to the second floor. The architectural design represents each brand in addition to welcoming customer lounge areas and showrooms. The service capacity has doubled in size, enabling more service volume and efficiency for customers.
