Mama’s House hosted a two-day fundraising event for its highly anticipated annual Charity Golf Classic & Dinner Show at Indian Wells Country Club. A fun day of golf on the renowned Cove Course kicked off the weekend. The next evening, Supreme Reflections, a Diana Ross and The Supremes tribute band, had guests singing and dancing to familiar classics.
“Mama’s House has always dreamed of hosting its own annual Charity Golf Classic & Dinner Show,” says Jan Lupia, founder and executive director of Mama’s House. “The funds raised from this two-day event support not only the Mama’s House mission, but also support our organization’s expansion campaign.” An $8.3 million expansion helped the organization establish its second residential home, the Anne Silverstein Campus, opening in June.
Mama’s House Ministries offers a residential environment for people struggling to meet their needs with infants or small children or those who may be pregnant.
“We all worked hard to make this event an outstanding success,” event co-chair Dr. Vincent Nola adds. “I am certain that our goal of most memorable event was accomplished through a lot of hard work and determination. We have set a precedence for golfers who played in the tournament and for guests who attended the dinner show.”
