Rat Pack enthusiasts garbed in 1960s fashion was all the craze when the Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center, Edwards Harris Pavilion pulled out all the stops to debut their first Meet The A+D Center membership drive and party.

While DJ Baz spun tunes by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr., guests tried their luck at the gambling tables playing blackjack and roulette using tokens that were given out during check-in. Winnings were turned in for raffle tickets for various prizes.

The smooth Martini Bar by Tito’s Handmade Vodka was a hit, as was the delectable food, including succulent prime rib, provided by Lulu California Bistro.

The membership drive attracted more than 100 new members to the museum and Architecture and Design Council.

The event drew more than 200 guests with a great mix of renewing and new museum members, founders, and new faces in town for Modernism Week Fall Preview. Among those in attendance were Honorary Chairs Nancy Sinatra and Amanda Erlinger, Trina Turk and Jonathan Skow, Elizabeth Armstrong, Donna MacMillan, Lisa and Phillip Smith, Joan and Gary Gand, and Sarah and Thom McElroy.

Event sponsors were David Hood and George Sellers, LJ Cella, Linda Usher and Malcolm Lambe, Ann Sheffer and Bill Scheffler, Roswitha Smale, and Geoffrey DeSousa.
