Site Staff

On September 27, Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center, Edwards Harris Pavilion held a sneak peek event. Founders and special guests were able to get a first look at the nearly completed renovation of the former Santa Fe Savings & Loan building, now the new home of the Architecture and Design Center. Those instrumental in the conception of the center and bringing it to fruition gave remarks to attendees.  Among those present were donors to the project; architects of the renovation, Marmol Radziner; chairman of Palm Springs Art Museum Board of Trustees, Harold Meyerman; executive director of Palm Springs Art Museum, Dr. Steven Nash; managing director of the Architecture and Design Center, J.R. Roberts; curator of Architecture and Design, Sidney Williams; Palm Springs Council Member Paul Lewin, and other avid supporters of this significant addition to the Palm Springs community.

Originally created by iconic architect E. Stewart Williams, the inaugural exhibition will be An Eloquent Modernist: E. Stewart Williams, Architect, opening to the public November 9.
