It’s that time of the year again, when Palm Desert transforms into an exciting fashion mecca, stormed by stylish shoppers, designers, and trendsetters. Saxony Group Fashion Week El Paseo is a must-see glamorous event — packed with nightly runway shows, cocktail parties, trunk shows, and showcases — bringing the top names in haute couture and ready-to-wear to the desert from March 21–28.
This year — the 10th edition — features upcoming collections by Trina Turk, Michael Costello, and Kevan Hall, among others; latest creations by international powerhouses such as Roberto Cavalli and Blumarine; and trailblazing emerging designs by Project Runway and FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising alumni.
The public can attend fashion shows that feature everything from the season’s hottest trends — and meet the designers, receive personal fittings, and indulge in a bit of retail therapy at trunk show events.
This week-long celebration of all things fashion is all for a good cause, too: proceeds from Saxony Group Fashion Week El Paseo support charities like the American Business Women’s Association, The GirlFriend Factor, and the Humane Society of the Desert.
