Long live heavy metal and Stephen Webster. The glam-rock jeweler who started designing at age 16 became known for making Rihanna sparkle like a diamond and for designing iconic wedding rings for Princess Diana and Madonna. Webster also invented a process called “crystal haze,” where thin layers of quartz crystals are faceted over precious stones, creating an illuminated hologram and, thus, an exquisite piece of jewelry. His craftsmanship shines in bold pieces that punctuate summer style.
