PSST! – Look Who’s Driving!

Hotrod dads and skateboarding sons always try to keep up with mothers who stay a few steps ahead. This 1965 Carroll Shelby Cobra is just the ticket to keep up with today’s super-performance mom. With a high-rise 427 engine that goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, it’s one of the fastest American cars on the road. Cousins of this bad boy have sold upward of $8 million. But that’s nothing compared to the $14.6 billion that we’ll spend on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day by the Numbers:

• President Wilson made Mother’s Day a national holiday in 1914.
• Americans will spend $671 million on Mother’s Day cards and $1.9 billion on flowers this year.
• 48 percent of people say they’re Facebook friends with their mom.
