The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation has outdone itself this year by picking a fabulous midcentury location for the annual Retro Martini Party fundraising event during Modernism Week.
The stunning home of Abe and Marion Schwartz in south Palm Springs epitomizes modern design with its inside-outside flow and linear architecture. This elegant residence was the perfect backdrop for the glamorous cocktail party attendees, who were draped in exquisite vintage attire. Ladies wore taffeta dresses complete with cute pillbox hats, and gentlemen looked impeccable with silk dinner jackets and dry martinis in hand.
It was indeed a Mad Men déjà vu!
